STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL SUFFOLK AND EASTERN NASSAU COUNTIES THROUGH 315 AM EDT At 223 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Brookville to Massapequa. Movement was northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Brentwood, Levittown, Freeport, Commack, Huntington Station, Centereach, Deer Park, Lindenhurst, Plainview, Massapequa, Hauppauge, Syosset, Mineola, Huntington, and Westbury.
